Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookery book author and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002 and has aired 27 seasons till 2020. Ina began her career working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget as well as policy reports. She initially adored the intellectual challenge that came with her work, but she soon stopped her enthusiasm. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. Before selling the business it took her an entire 18 years transforming it into the most successful shop. The cookbooks were followed by many more and magazine columnists that followed. Her Food Network TV show also was launched with great hit. She sells many items, from the ingredients needed for food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina has never been to any cookery schools or worked in a restaurant and she is completely self-taught. She's known for her easygoing approach to creating and entertaining. Some of her most popular recipes include Skillet and Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese, Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese paired with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
