Silk was born Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was a well-known actor, director and producer and also a professor at St. Thomas University. Her parents were Peter who was a renowned academic. Anna recalls her mother's work and attending play rehearsals. Silk featured in a number of commercials when she was a kid.
