Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the US. She's primarily an actress, but also an acrobat and songwriter. A lot of people recognize her from her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show 'The Goldbergs.' Even though she sings but her main passion is music. It is the first thing that interests her. She has been dabbling at since she was 9 years old. When she was 12, music became serious enough for her to pursue a career in music. At the age of 13 when she began writing herself songs. The album that she first released wasn't released until 14 years after. Since then she's not ever looked back. Orrantia is a native of the USA however she has Hispanic origins. Even though she spoke only English throughout her childhood and never been to Mexico, Orrantia is extremely proud of her Hispanic heritage. By learning Spanish and writing songs she is trying to keep the culture alive. One of her songs was a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions in the summer of 2011. Her YouTube video was selected and she got four "yeses" (or votes) for the judges during the Seattle audition. Her initial audition was performing as a solo artist, however following "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were put in a group to continue the auditions.
